Years ago, the legendary pirate, Gold Roger was executed. With his final words, he told of his treasure known as "One Piece" which was hidden somewhere on the Grand Line. And so began the Golden Age of Pirates. Now, twenty two years later, Monkey D. Luffy desires to find One Piece, and become the Pirate King. Along the way he gathers a loyal crew of misfits, and together they face off against the most fearsome enemies, including the World Government itself!
